Find Your Image Consultant and Personal Shopper

Tips for Hiring the Right Personal Shopper and Stylist for You

How to Choose The Perfect Personal Shopper When people think of a personal shopper, they imagine rich people sending others to shop on their behalf, buying the items they just can't be bothered to get. The truth is a personal shopper is so much more than that. It can be someone who helps you coordinate your fashion ideas, or maybe even give you a sense of fashion if you don't have any.

Other tasks frequently done by someone in this profession include helping someone pick the perfect gift for a special occasion, find the perfect hairstyle for you, and even help you find that new look.

In today's age personal shoppers are quite affordable, or at least better than they used to be and aren't just for the rich anymore.

Tips to help you choose the perfect shopper Make sure you get along well with the person. You need to gauge your like for the person who will be helping you. This can be done with the first consultation or meeting. It is important you like the person because they are going to be the ones buying things for you on your behalf. Chances are if you don't like the person, you may most likely not like their taste in clothing.

Make use of the internet. Like many other services, the internet is a good place to start looking for personal shoppers or services in your area. Find a good one that interests you and start making inquiries about their services.

Be aware of charges. Most shoppers are quick to offer you a discounted rate or even free consultation however, the charges may go up once the personal shopper is hired to do the job. A lot of shoppers charge on a per item basis, so never assume that one price is all you will pay.

Are you using your shopper a lot? Shoppers will sometimes offer you discounted rates if you end up using them often for their services. Make sure you find out how much the cost will be, especially if you plan to only use the personal shopper for special occasions.

Make sure you get approval or return services. This is important because if for whatever reason you don't like what the shopper has gotten for you then you will be stuck with what they have bought on your behalf.

If you are still wondering if a personal shopper can be expensive or out of your budget, most times there are affordable ones for those who are a bit lower on their money.

If you don't want to be the one figuring out how to color coordinate all your clothes, need help with your groceries, can't be bothered with trying to find that perfect present, or simply just need an extra hand in the store, then a personal shopper might be for you.
