Best And Worst Dressed Celebrities Of 2011
Despite having the best stylists on speed dial and access to loads of designer duds, some stars make fashion mistakes every now and then, and 2011 was no exception.
If you think it is difficult choosing that perfect outfit for a night out at the club, or that business dinner just pause for a moment and think of all the celebrities who are judged on their clothing every time they step out of their castles...er homes. To make matter worse they are expected to appear for all these glitzy awards ceremony wearing a different stunning outfit each time with a line of fashion police just waiting to tell the American public which celebrity looked great and which ones have no taste for fashion. Is it any wonder that some of these celebs bounce from being the best dressed at one event to being the very worst dressed at the next?
Here are a few celebrities that have made the best and worst dressed list this year although not always on the same list.
Anne Hathaway - This actress tends to keep her dress style simple and elegant and it certainly pays off as she almost always appears on the best dressed list regardless of the awards ceremony. This is one actress that seems to really know what styles suit her figure and pale looks.
Halle Berry - There is just something about this actress that allows her to pull off just about any style. Whether she is wearing a sleek gown, or a scrunched up and dull looking ball gown she always seem to manage the best dressed list even when wearing styles no one else would get caught dead in.
Nicole Kidman - Despite all her years in the spotlight this is one star that just can't seem to get it right according to those in the fashion know. However, despite making the worst dressed list at both this years Oscars and Golden Globes she seemed to shine and win approval at this years Grammy Awards.
Sandra Bullock - She's hot and then she's not according to those who watch fashion. This actress seems to go from the best of the best dressed to the worst of the worst dressed in a blink of an eye. Either way she always seems to be the talk of the red carpet.
As you can see even those who are blessed with real star power don't always seem to have what it takes when it comes to dressing with style and grace. However, you also need to keep in mind that if you are one of those people who keep up with such lists you'll find yourself disagreeing with the choices these fashion experts make as often as you agree. Every person has their own idea of what looks good and what doesn't and occasionally if the fashion experts get it wrong. So, keep your chin up even if that dress you wore to your cousins wedding was a complete miss, there are other occasions and chances to get it right. Just ask the celebs!
