My mother, Beth and I have always loved antiques and unique vintage finds. Ever since I was a small child my mother used to take me to yard sales and swap meets. Always looking for that unique one of kind item. For the last 40 years we have been buying, selling, and collecting antiques.

Ten years ago I quit my job to come work with my mom full time in the vintage clothing business. It was the best decision I could have ever made. This has been a great opportunity to learn the business and become closer with my mom. We shop together throughout the US looking for quality merchandise. It is always a treasure hunt as you never know what you will find out there.

We have worked with and sold to many costume designers, such as Academy Award® winners Deborah Scott and Colleen Atwood and other such notables as Judianna Makovsky.  Our clothing has appeared in many films from “Titanic” to “Chicago.”  We also sell to many fashion designers who use vintage clothing for their inspiration. Museums have also purchased from us to expand their collections for all to enjoy.

Our business has expanded to the internet; in 1999 my husband and I created our web site to offer more of our vintage collection for sale online. Since then we have been selling on ebay under the user name 1860-1960. Our feedback rating with ebay is impeccable. We also sell at local vintage clothing shows throughout the year and are always on the lookout for new items. We have earned a reputation for being honest and knowledgeable, as well as professional, friendly and personable.
